Staying in a homestay is, without doubt, the best way to further develop your English and generally learn about the British way of life. You will stay with a local English family that is sued to welcoming foreign students into their home.

Full board accommodation - includes breakfast, lunch and dinner every day

Half board accommodation - includes breakfast and dinner every day except Saturday and Sunday when breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner is provided.

Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Portsmouth. These homes are often between 20-35 minutes away from the school by foot.
Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Students must be 16 years old and older.
All homestays have criminal record checks and are inspected annually in line with British Council requirements.
It is company policy that students of the same nationality are not housed together in the same homestay.
